Meet BILL BEAVER
Billy Love (aka Billy Love Detroit, Bill Beaver, Tre.B.L., Beavertronix) is a house and techno vocal time capsule, producer, and DJ.
Born in Detroit, he is most known for his vocal work and singing in the early techno scene, but the totality of his works span the genres of cosmic funk, dance, new wave, R & B, and Jazz. Coming from a family of MoTown singers, Beaver grew up with a microphone in his hand. At a young age, he sang with 80’s group Kiara (Arista Recordings.) Returning home after tour as a young boy, he became a key singer in the UR formative band Members of the House (1993), officially bringing Motown-style gospel vocals to techno. Proving there is space for vocals in the futuristic soul sound, the foundational band was often referred to as “The Temptations of Techno”.
